Safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children is undoubtedly one of the most important aspects of every provider of education and care.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in school is Mrs Louise Woffendin (Deputy Headteacher).

Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL's) in school are:

  • Mrs Cathy Isaac (Headteacher)
  • Ms Joanne Langley
  • Mrs Elena O'Hare (SENDCo)
  • Mrs Debbie Macdonald (Pastoral Manager)
  • Mrs Susie Byrnes (EYFS)

Our Nominated Safeguarding Governor is Alison Nunn (Vice Chair).

Our Designated Teacher for looked-after and previously looked-after children is Mrs Louise Woffendin (Deputy Headteacher).

Are you concerned about the welfare of a child?

Please act quickly. It can make all the difference!

If you think a child may be suffering neglect or abuse, it can be difficult knowing what to do. Your action is vital in making sure the child gets the help they need. This is especially relevant as children have been away from school due to closures during the pandemic.

If you have any concerns, please contact the school on 01535 273839 and speak to one of our DSL's.

If you are concerned about a child out of school, please contact Bradford Children's Social Care Initial Contact Point on 01274 435600.
