Homework Learning Tasks

Each half term new homework tasks will be set, these will be based on our latest topic. Homework can be brought into school at any time but must be brought before Wednesday 14th December. Children to complete a minimum of two pieces of homework.

Planners are to be signed every week and daily reading recorded in them. Also, there is a lot of information that is really useful for all subjects.

We have PE on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Please ensure that your child is wearing their PE kit on these days, long hair should be tied back and jewellery removed (or earrings taped).

Our Learning from Autumn 1

Author visit

We had a special visit from Jenny York, a children's author, on Friday 23rd September. She introduced us to the characters from her latest book and we even acted out their personalities!

Time Table Rock Stars Launch Day

We launched TTRS by dressing as a rock star for the day! We had a number of exciting activities throughout the day, everyone can't wait to get started! Please use the link below to access the site (apps can be downloaded too).

Art Project

As part of a whole school project, we worked with art specialist Mr Bullock. We created individual portraits in the style of Axel Scheffler and then replicated some of these designs onto large wooden letters. The letters will spell Cullingworth and be displayed outside school, we can't wait to see the final result!

In out art lessons, we've been learning about Banksy and created our graffiti tag.

Over the last few PE lessons, we have been improving our hockey skills.
