Welcome everyone.  My name is Debbie Macdonald and I am the parent and inclusion worker for our school.  Good links and effective communication between home and school are vital and I hope to provide that.  During the school day, I also carry out nurture and inclusion work with children individually or in small groups.

I am contactable in the office, telephone number 01535 273839.

You will find me before school starts on the entrance path outside school every Friday morning.  You are also welcome to call in to the office before or after school.   I will offer help and advice regarding any matter and confidentiality is assured at all times.

I like parents to feel very welcome here, and I run after school activities such as arts and crafts, sports activities on the field and times tables classes, in which parents/carers can get involved with their children.  There are also occasional coffee mornings and information sessions for parents to come along to. I am involved with the smooth transition for children starting here and those moving on to secondary school.

Parental involvement, whether it be in school or at home has a huge influence on standards of attainment and also impacts on attitudes and behaviour.

I have worked at Cullingworth Village Primary School since 1997 which shows how much I enjoy it!  I hope to build up good relationships with families so that we can all strive for the very best for our children.

I look forward to seeing you around school and meeting you at future events.

Many thanks,

Debbie Macdonald.
